Old Souls of Tirana

A photo journey of the portraits of a generation gracefully navigating through their daily lives in Tirana, Albania.
Captured in the photos and the words of local photographer Sabina Kallari.

From capturing different photography styles in my local neighbourhood, I started going out in the streets of Tirana and slowly started getting more interested in portraiture.

In the vibrant city of Tirana, amidst its bustling streets and rich history, I found my true calling: capturing portraits, particularly of the city's elderly residents.

While many may overlook their stories in the rush of everyday life, I am drawn to the timeless beauty and wisdom etched in their weathered faces.

Through my lens, I uncover truths that often go unnoticed, weaving a narrative of resilience and hope that resonates deeply with viewers. My passion lies in sharing these truths with the world, illuminating the profound stories that lie beneath the surface of everyday life.

It seemed that these moment seekings became my number one goal of each day, no matter if they're capture by my camera or my cellphone.

With a deep passion for visual storytelling, I know strive to freeze moments in time, preserving memories and emotions.
